“שמע ישראל” — the oldest declaration in Jewish liturgy, engraved across the map of the land it names. A Magen David sits within the northern half of the country, and the Hebrew lines follow the taper of the map down to the Negev.
Because the prayer is engraved rather than pierced, the pendant keeps a solid, substantial face while carrying a great deal of text. It is a common bar and bat mitzvah gift for exactly that reason: the words are the point, and they last.
The back is left clear for an optional personal engraving. Handmade in Israel from 0.7mm 925 sterling silver, also offered in 24K gold plate and rose gold plate.
