A memorial piece, and a defiant one. The Hebrew reads “עם ישראל חי” — the people of Israel live — set above the date 7.10.23. A Star of David rises from the north of the map and a small heart is pierced through the south.
It is worn as a statement of solidarity and as an act of remembrance, and it draws conversation in a way a plain Magen David does not. The engraving is fixed as part of the design, not personalized.
Handmade in Jerusalem from 925 sterling silver at 0.7mm, and offered in 24K gold plate and rose gold plate over the same solid silver base.

* Seller accommodated my special request to reverse the day and month so that it’s American-style (month/day/year). Item as-described and as-pictured. Lovely and thoughtful packaging.
I wouldn’t mind though if the engraving stood out a bit more (but perhaps that’s not possible when dealing with small engravings….?) The clasp on the chain is a bit unusual and difficult to maneuver but that’s not really much of a big deal.
